Seabourn’s Origins:

Seabourn became best known, with their two original elegant and luxurious, small luxury ships, such as the 9,900-ton Seabourn Spirit and the Seabourn Legend. Both have now been sold to other companies as there was a need for highly specialised and more intimate but slightly larger ships, yet they had to remain small enough to accommodate a small number of guests who would sail in sheer luxury!

Seabourn Yachts is a member of the exclusive World’s Leading Cruise Lines alliance, which also includes Cunard Line, Holland America Line, P&O Cruises UK, P&O Cruises Australia, Costa Cruises (Italy), Iberocruceros (Spain) and AIDA (Germany) and Carnival Cruises. Together, these member lines share a commitment to quality and value, offering cruise vacations that appeal to a wide range of lifestyles and budgets and sail to some of the world’s most exciting destinations. However Seabourn is the company that stands very much apart for it is the premier product that has won countless awards for excellence!

Surveys completed by guests whilst aboard very clearly reflect the growing delight with the cruise experience on the Seabourn Yachts. They have always been strong, and the General Impression scores have progressed from averages of 9.51 on a scale of 10 to 9.62 in recent times. Scores for service categories are even higher, with stewardesses and restaurant service staff achieving scores ranging from 9.60 to an incredible 9.75 out of 10. That is what Seabourn offers excellent service.

MV Seabourn Sojourn

Now with a new fleet of five magnificent ships the Seabourn Odyssey, Sojourn and Quest, and Seabourn Encore and Ovation these slightly larger, yet intimate super luxury ships continue their high standard which they are famed for! It is good to know that Seabourn has the youngest and most modern ultra-luxury fleet of ships in the industry.
